I took apart a jumpsuit i made years ago and reused the shorts bit and made it into a lined skirt and it attaches to the original bodice at the waist with a really long open ended zip. i loved the idea in theory i did it and all the panels are off when you join the skirt to the top bit. I want to wear the top bit as a jacket but how do you hide a zip at the waist?

Do you mean the zip is too long and it dangles down?
