with this dress:

I can track down some simular fabric – but could anyone recommend a good pattern that is the same or close?

Thanks X

Hmm. Not quite the same, but Vivat Veritas has made loads of similar dresses, usually with much bigger cutouts in the back. Some of those dresses were apparently modified from BurdaStyle’s Danielle pattern, so you could try to ask her (she’s a BS member, as you can see on the sidebar on the right of her blog) about what alterations she made to the pattern to get the desired effect.

You could also modify a basic sheath dress at the shoulder and back to produce the same look.
