Hope I am in the right place! I have a Burda pattern no. 7582 which is a lovely jacket and have tried to find such a fabric to make it up, but no success can anyone help me please? I havent made anything for years and want to get started again. Thank you.

They are very hard to come by unless making a baby cheater quilt. The only one I’m familiar with currently is a plain muslin by Rocland.

With pieces as small as a jacket, you may be able to “quilt” it on your sewing machine.

You could just find the fabric you want, cut the pieces as you normally would, but before you sew any of them together, draw a grid on the pieces and just topstitch on your grid. That would give it the quilted look without actually being quilted.

Or you could actually quilt the pieces with batting and backing, but that would add a lot of effort!!

Thank you both for your suggestions. I will attempt quilting I think! Watch this space…..
