Do you mean… that you want to get rid of the bust darts? Are the darts on the side or under the bust? If its under – just don’t put them in. The dress will be loose, the only thing you can do to make it fitted is to put the darts in. You can take in a little from the sides but not much.

If its from the sides – Re-draw the whole side of the dress without the dart in it, making a straight line by copying the direction of the line that the side was going ABOVE the original dart. So the dress should be straight from the hip to the armhole really. Adjust the back too so its the same. Then you can try it on and take in a little bit more if you can

If you want to re-direct the dart so its somewhere else, say – the side dart into the dart under the bust. Simply cut along one side of the dart till you get to the bust point, then along one side of the side dart to the bust point, then move the paper around till the sides of the side dart are together and hey presto. But that only really works for the top part of the dress (is there a seam on the waist? Or you could insert one?)
