Hi, I’m looking for a dog coat pattern to sew on my new machine. I have a couple of whippet-cross, called Biscuit & Twiglet. Twiglet really shivers in the cold when not running around and her current coat is a bit short & doesn’t keep her neck warm. Biscuit is a bit hardier with a thicker natural coat, so isn’t as bad.
Any suggestions for patterns to sew (free or to buy)?
Thanks

I haven’t posted mine yet but I have two coat patterns drafted for Italian Greyhounds- size Biggie and Bittie :D The problem with most commercial dog coat patterns for the sight hounds is that the back end of the coat doesn’t curve downward like the flanks of the dog. I have a picture of my coat in my projects- it’s in wild colored polar fleece with skulls and roses ;)

One of my upcoming project is a coverall for dogs. Coverall definitely keeps them warm. My dogs out grew some of the expensive ones I bought. My mom knit a few Sweater Coveralls for them, it really helps to keep them cozy. Since I have a bit more time now, I will definitely draft the patterns and make a few.
