Just received my new Twinkle book. Love it! Want to make everything :)
I’m going to my friend’s art show on Monday night and am just printing out Take Manhattan. Anyone up for a quick weekend sewalong – I know, short notice. But maybe something else next week?
Hope someone’s in!

Aw man… I JUST ordered Twinkle Sews this morning xD Personally don’t know if I’m quite at the skill level for it yet, but if you’re up for a sewalong in maybe a few months or so I’m totally game… Heh. I’ve only had my machine for a week, I think I’m a bit overambitious… But I LOVE the patterns in the book, they’re things I would totally wear daily now if I could afford to. RTW they’re miles away from my price range!
ETA: Yipes, I didn’t even see the date on your post, I just assumed it was recent. I’m going to go hide my head in a hole now.

Don’t worry about it .. I have done that many times on this site. I have this book and have yet to try any of the designs. A sew-a-long would be fantastic when I get my life back. Summer time keeps me awfully busy.

Just saw this posting. I actually just got done making the “love in the afternoon” dress from the book. I was able to download it from the Sew Stylish site. I ended up making a few modifications to suit my taste (including lenthening it a bit) but otherwise was really happy with the pattern. Zoby, I think a sew a long would be perfect for you. I’ve been sewing for a bit, so the slightly confusing parts of the instructions worked themselves out for me from experience. Good luck with the project you choose. There are so many great ones!
