Are we able to do this now? The blog said this would be a feature of the new site, but the only “instructions” I can find are either written like how-tos or seem incomplete. If this is what comes with the patterns now, then I don’t want to buy them. If not, then what’s there really doesn’t tell me if I could complete the project. Is there a different way to view instructions that I’m missing?

Well, I checked the lancey instructions against the free german version, and it turns out the instructions that come with the pattern really DO look the same as they do on this site. No diagrams other than how to lay out the pattern pieces. So I guess this feature is helpful b/c I don’t think I could follow that :)

I clicked on some free patterns and when I click ‘get all directions’ nothing or an article about it pop up, but no instructions or patterns or even what types of fabric, etc was used. I’m new here, but how can I see this, it prints blank

Jonny Restyled – Circle Skirt & Crossover Bodice…1 page about it, no instruction,(the rest are blank pages) Bernina 3 Series entry – tailormade party dress, The 50’s petticoat, Katjusha, Aubri Purse, Wrap Shirt from Lydia…and many more. I can’t see instructions or patterns on anything. Is there an issue with the site or does it pop up in some format I may not have on my comp.?

Good day to you.
I like several of the patterns featured on http://www.burdastyle.com/blog/10-new-patterns-that-are-oh-so-chic. On patternreview.com, the sewers always mention that the Burda Style instructions are not detailed enough for a beginner sewer. I wanted to judge the instructions for myself.
I went to http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/012011-short-sleeve-blouse and clicked the Instructions tab. All I can see is the size chart and the line drawing. The other pages do not show any words or drawings.
After clicking on the photo and viewing a full size picture, I did find a text link under the photo “Full Instructions PDF”. I clicked it, but the PDF does not download and the generic error message simply says that the file has an error.
My browser is FireFox; my Operating System is Windows 7; and I was logged in as a BurdaStyle.com member. I also tried my other browser, IE8.
Like the other people in this discussion thread, I would like to ask if the Instruction is available prior to purchase?
