Could I request an extra level in the skill description on our profiles? I hummed and haawed before finally settling on “expert”, although some days I hardly felt that way, but I am definitely not “intermediate”. Could there be an “experienced” or “advanced” before “expert”?? Then I wouldn’t feel I am selling myself short, but also not blowing my own horn either. :D thanks!

    Anne, Thanks so much for your post I totally agree on your request!!! Although I chose to sew as a hobby I do possess the “Advanced or Experienced Skills and Education”, do not list myself as “Expert” because I do not sew for profit or for a living/professional career.

    Know their are other members who also are considered above the Intermediate Levels who just came here to help support others through their sewing issues.

    Hoping they will all add a post to support this request.

    I totally agree too. Although I really am an expert in crochet, I’m only advanced as far as sewing goes, and I would really rather be classified as advanced rather than expert. Thanks for your post.
