I’ve just noticed that the pre-set search options have been greatly reduced with Patterns. Can we please have the Plus one added back. If you select Womens you get 9 pages of patterns. There are only about 9 actual Plus sized patterns available – I don’t want to be looking thru’ 9 pages of patterns that aren’t available to me to find the few that will fit. That’s just a big tease….

I think a search by sizes would be perfect, not just for the women who wear plus sizes but for the women who wear smaller sizes as well. And with a growing number of member patterns, which only come in one size or a few sizes this would really make it easier for all of us.

Good point!
It would be easier for everyone to find patterns if they could choose to see a selected size-range.
There are quite a few petit seamstresses (it’s almost equally hard to find petit clothes as larger sizes).
And it would help those with “normal” sizes too :-)

I know I’m late to the party, but I just want to say I love the new system of displaying patterns. It’s SOOOOO much easier to navigate than it was! Thanks for the improvement!!

It’s okay to be late to the party, the Burdastyle Team enjoys hearing raves anytime!

I don’t know if I missed something, but is there a way to sort out plus-sized patterns? As someone who is both petite and plus-sized (I’m a freak of nature, I know!!!!) it’s really nice to start with a plus-sized pattern before resizing. It seems like there aren’t many plus-sized versions of the patterns, but maybe I’m missing this somehow (or maybe this addressed in another discussion thread? If not, it would be really great if burda mag, burdastyle, or who-the-heck-ever would start posting more free (and not-free) plus-sized versions of the patterns.

Hi littlelaza,
Unfortunately, we do not have a way to sort out plus-sized patterns at this time. I do agree that we should consider this option for future enhancement, and we will definitely keep this in mind.
Best,
David

Dear Burda Style,
Usually when I am looking through the patterns, it is because I want to grab digital images of patterns from the magazine, which I subscribe to, and I keep a personal database of the patterns that I want to make.
It would be so nice if there were a way of searching for just a particular month!! Currently, the patterns display in a sort-of-but-not-necessarily most recent order, and it’s most frustrating when you are looking for something particular.
