What’s the status on getting access to the Members’ Directory? This seems to be completely missing from the new site and it seems a real shame to me. There were issues with the old directory, sure, but NOBODY suggested doing away with it altogether!

    Yep, I miss it too. I had high hopes that the glitches the old one had would be eliminated on this new site but instead it’s gone completely.

    Aaah, I just realized there is no way to look members up without knowing their exact member name! There were some lovely people I met recently at a meet up and I’d like to find them and see what they’ve been up to. I think we need a member directory again and I would love it if it could be sortable by country, state, city.

    Great idea! Even if you have a rough idea of where a member is, they don’t come up if you search by location. eg Leeds (where I am from) I am not on that list nor are at least half a dozen others that I know to be Leeds’ members.

    Hi Alden, Does this mean that for the foreseeable future, there will be NO way of locating a member through the BS site? Grim, very grim. I guess we will have to befriend everyone ala Facebook; and won’t that create a logjam!. Can you tell us why it was decided to omit the Member search feature? This is the only site I’m on where I cannot locate other members. Cordially, Nehmah
