Hello BuzzyBee
Your shopping cart and your purchased items are private, noone else can look at them unless you take a screenshot of your browser window and send them over email :-)
In relation to Activity, Wall and Favorites, making those private defeats the purpose of community.
From you understanding, people will not be able to comment on your wall or even reply to some other comments there, that could perhaps help you out in your quest of assistance or as congratulation messages for a wonderful project or technique you uploaded and other has been used.
In the old website I have access to both wall and favorites, see here
More granular permission perhaps could be implemented, and community feedback on this would be valuable.
Thank you for your input.
Cheers!

Hi luislavena, I understand your comments about the purpose of community.
So can people who are not logged in to the site (anybody who surfs the net) still see my favourite projects, my wall and my activity?
I was thinking about the “Wall” as a message inbox where anybody can leave a message that only I can see. Obviously the word “Wall” implies something else – actually exactly what it is now. If I want to converse with people privately, I guess I have to choose email, but that is step further. Having a Burda-Style based “inbox” (as on the old version of the site) was a private and at the same time still relatively loose way of communicating with members. I don’t dislike the “Wall”, but having a more private inbox at the same time could be useful too.
The “favourites” section on the other hand, I think, is a place where I want to bookmark projects for my personal use, to remember things, or because I want to create my personal scrapbook of projects. I want to be able to choose whether I want to make those thoughts public or not. If I want to complement other peoples projects, I will say so on their project page or rate their project.
