Is there a feature that helps one locate friends on the website?
If not, this would be a good addition.

Hi pollyb, Not entirely sure what you are suggesting here. If you go to your profile and click the tab labeled “my friends” you should be able to see all the friends you have made on the site. Does this help?

I have the same suggestion…how does one find friends in the first place?

I think there is a bit of confusion as to what “friends” are on this site, it’s not like Facebook. Adding someone as a “friend” means you get updates when they post new projects. I use “friends” to follow members I find interesting or who I have had quite a bit of interaction with (we’ve been sewing the same items and swapping tips etc) and also members that are in my BSC club. If you have a friend on here and want to look for them you can search for their user name although the search function doesn’t seem to be as good as on the old site but I think they are working on it. Hopefully you will be able to search using locations etc.
