I don’t like facebook. I use it only sparingly, and only because it has become somewhat necessary to stay in touch with distant family members. Also, it’s fire-walled at work, so I couldn’t use it there if I wanted to. So, WHY is my burdastyle account automatically logging into my facebook account (I keep disconnecting it) without verifying with me that I want it too? And why does burdastyle log me out of my facebook account whenever I disconnect the two?

ETA: Because FB is firewalled at work, if the accounts are linked I can’t post anything on Burdastyle.

    AGHHH!!! I am so frustrated with the stupid facebook auto-login! It never asks me if I want to login, it just DOES IT. Then I have to disconnect it, which logs me OUT of facebook, which I also didn’t ask for!

      Let me see if I can get you some help on this. That does seem a bit invasive that your burdastyle account is controlling your FB account. I’m sure there’s a way around it, but I will see if one of our computer smart guys know.

    I would like the auto pop up stopped too. FB is also blocked at my work and I do not want to use my FB login for BurdaStyle, I am happy logging in like normal but I completely understand that other users like it. If I want to log in via facebook I will click the appropriate link but this window pops up even when I try to log in normally. When I log in at work during a break the FB login page pops up but with its large black and red BLOCKED page which is annoying and invasive (and I hope our IT aren’t logging how many time it appears I tried to access facebook!)

      Putting your request in the next report. I hope to get an answer quickly on how to resolve this. Lots of people sign in at work and it would be a shame if they couldn’t fill their breaks with sewing!

      Oh yes, a quick peak and BurdaStyle during my break definitely helps a slow Friday go a little bit faster :)

      Yeah….. If that auto pop up window actually gave me an option to NOT log in, it would be fine. However, I would prefer it only logged in or out of facebook at my specific instruction. I’d rather not see the pop up window at all unless I click “connect”.

    I had to dsiconnect all the Burdastyle functions through my facebook account settings which seems to be working for the moment. However, I think I would have to go change them back in order to login from Burdastyle.
