The current method of contacting other members doesn’t really allow for two way communication, unlike the old site’s. Could you at least add a “To reply to this message, click here” link?

    Some members don’t want contact to contact messaging, and others even more, don’t what their personal information been exposed.

    Having so many variables, is hard to describe all the scenarios quickly to fulfill all member’s expectations.

    Rest assured we are going to plan for this and come up with a solution that benefit all of us.

      Luislavena, I’m the one who opened the thread you mentioned and I’d like to state that I never wanted no contact with others – I just do not want any contact per email. A real two way communication like the PM system on the old site would be fabulous.

      It actually bothers me to get messages via Burdastyle in my personal email. That feels more like an invasion of privacy with no recourse than the old system. A simple PM with blocking and replying options would be ideal, and I won’t be convinced this isn’t feasible.

    PM system on the old site was much better than this one is. You can’t even reply without finding the member on the site again. Hope you’ll make it as it was before.

    I miss the old system as well. I wanted to contact another member today to ask them a direct question but can’t because there’s no e-mail button for them.

      hmmmm which member has no button? that might be a bug. WE are going to be reviewing the system in the upcoming months and will keep this in mind!

    I ‘ll try to remember arsonista and kaitui_kiwi I was interested in what program they use to draft their patterns and can’t find the send message on either one of their personal areas.
