Quick question..shouldn’t items posted on the creations page that are not remotely related to sewing be considered spam and marked as inappropriate?

I agree, this is a sewing website not beading or knitting, or rug making as I have seen recently.
Knitting have Ravelry, and I am sure there is some beading and rug making website too for those who wish to share their wares.
Good on you for saying something, although it appeared to go right over their head!

It appears that way doesn’t it. The one poster I referenced is very clever. She posts all her for sale paper necklaces on the same day the new pattern is released. Ensuring a huge audience for her items.

We will discuss this internally. This is very much a sewing site and we would like to keep it that way, every once in a while people will put up projects to show off their other talents which is mostly ok by us if it’s every once in a while. again we will discuss the actions to take and get back to everyone
