I accidentally marked a comment as inappropriate when I wanted to post a reply.

Unfortunately I can’t undo it! What shall I do! The comment was totally appropriate and I wanted to reply to it to confirm that.
The reason I clicked on the inappropriate button is, that there is no reply button, when I look at my own post. That is not so good. It discourages discussion to go on any further. I’d like to reply to the replies that I get on my posts!

Hey BuzyBee, You can reply to comments by clicking on the original reply button. We will be monitoring the “inappropriate” section so if you hit it by accident don’t worry!

Thanks Alden. Once a reply to a reply has been posted it does not seem to have a reply button.
That is not a problem, as the reply button from the initial reply does the job. I am just mentioniong it, as it might mislead other people into accidentally pushing the lightening bolt . This is how I accidentally managed to do just that, as the lightening bolt is in the place where the reply button is normally – I was just a little too quick.

I have the exact same problem… it might be a good idea to have an “undo” option for accidental “inappropriate” clicking.

Yes, I have done the same till I got use to it. I usually apologize to the person that I marked as inappropriate and then send a message to answers@burdastyle.com about the mistake so that they may correct it. Make sure to include the link and who you did it to.

I have done this a few times too – thinking the “inappropriate” button was the reply button! Just did it again! Whoopsie-doodle!! I agree with littlecottondresses. Could there be a button or some function to reverse this?
