Hello again all! For the month of October the Bemidji, MN BSC will be having two meeting dates. Tuesday the 13th at 6:00pm will be an open workshop where you can bring a project of your choosing to work on. Friday the 30th at 6:00pm we will be walking through making a full bust adjustment to a store bought blouse/shirt pattern. You are welcome to bring your own pattern for a blouse/shirt but if you do not have one just let me know and I can provide a pattern. If there are any newcomers interested in coming please send an email to makemenddo@gmail.com and I will provide directions.

After a too long holiday hiatus the Bemidji Burda Style Sewing club is back in swing! For February we will be meeting on the 26th at 6:00PM. We will be making Moccasin type slipper based on this tutorial http://paleoplanet69529.yuku.com/topic/14813/t/Moccasins-101-How-to-make-one-piece-moccasins.html. The “kicker” is instead of using leather we will be making them from recycled articles of clothing ie.) old sweater, coat, denim, etc. Although anyone wanting to use leather is free to do so as well. Email me at makemenddo@gmail.com if you have any questions, need directions, etc. Hope to see you there!
