What’s most confusing, I see a lot of new projects online, contributed by other members.
Why can’t I upload any?

I have been having this problem too.
I’ve found the only way I can upload a project is if I run it through, get the error code, hit the back button, hit the refresh button, reenter the title and style, all but one of my pics are gone, but I hit ‘update’. Then I go to the ‘your project has been saved’ page and I go to edit and I add another pic, hit update. I do that again until all my pics are uploaded. Then I hit ‘publish’.
Very tedious, but that is the only thing that works.
I would think it’s a problem with the photos since it works if you upload one by one.

Your issue has been reported. Have you tried to reset your browser and empty cache? I use Safari and will use this as an example. Go to your browsers menu by clicking on Safari (or your browser). There will be a choice to reset and click on that. This will give you the options of what you would like to have reset. Also, empty your cache. If this does not work please let me know and we will figure out the problem. Happy sewing!

I cleared my cache few days ago so it shouldn’t be the reason.
For some reason, I tried it again last night and it worked. Is this problem associated with number of users trying to do the same thing?
Thanks for your reply.

I too have had the same problem for 2 days. Furthermore when I tried to report the problem it came up as order rejected as I wasn’t authorised to make changes ! This is the only way I can report that I too am getting the internal server problem 500…. Any ideas ?

I have the same issue (server problem 500). I’ve been trying to upload a new project and pattern today—I’ve given it four tries already, with no luck!

I am also unable to load a project. I fill in all the required fields, and then get a message telling me I have to select a project. Not sure what this means?

It keeps happening to me too, and takes a few tries for it to work!

I too had this problem and it took days - it seems that very often items that we have selected / clicked seem to get deselected on clicking finish/submit e.g. choose a project, no image, choose one fabric etc -- It took numerous tries by me over 3 days to finally get my project uploaded.

I keep trying to upload a project ( i’m on my work PC) and I get either the “you must chose a project” message, or the “that name is already taken” excuse (it’s not)….. I’m bummed. Not that my photos are anything great (pretty crappy actually) but I’m amped about a finished project and wanted to post. :(

I’m having similar problem. I’ve been trying to upload a project and get a message that I need to “choose a project material”, which I’ve done every single time. I’m sad too, as I’ve finally got photos of my project to be able to upload.

Did you click on the pink “Add New Material” after you selected your fabric? It is located just below the box list of materials. You will also have to do this with the style category, click on the pink “Add a New Style” just below the style box. If you are still having troubles let me know and I will get someone in the offices to look in to it. Happy Sewing from your friendly forum manager!

Thanks! I found the buttons (right in front of me!), and was able to publish.
