Hi everybody!
I would really apreciate your help and opinion on this.
There is a costume party in about 2 weeks from now. The announcement says
“As it is the carnival period there will be dresscode: STRICTLY TANGO!!! From any period of tango history you prefer, women in elegant dresses and men in dark suits”
So what do you wear for tango that doesnt look like a modern night gown?
I checked that tango goes back to 1880s and was a hit at europe in the 1910s. I started looking on line for ideas and I found out that I particularly like the silhouetes of 1910 to 1914, they called Edwardians or Belle Epoque in France (or at least I think so!)
Costumes like these
or the one on the right
would be wonderfull, but I’ve never made such a thing, or drafted a pattern totaly on my own. It will take days and days to have it made. And I cant find a free download pattern.
I guess this
would be easier to make
but unless I look like her it will just be a dress.
Help me pleaaaaaaase.
