Hello Aislin.
I made a very nice Lolita style coat using Simplicity 2508. All I did to make it Lolita was that I widened each pattern piece by doubling the bottom measurements, making the swing at the waist double as wide as the pattern. This gives it a lovely almost full-circle skirt. Also look at costume patterns for basics that you can add to and alter for a better Lolita look.
