I just made a really awesome unitard, but the crotch is not quite right and this is causing the material to gather in the hip creases in the front. I tried bringing in the crotch seamline, but that just gave me a cameltoe effect (i.e. the seamline for the crotch was too high). I seem to be stuck between having the seamline of the crotch in the right place with two big wrinkles in the hip creases or having the crotch seam too high. Can anyone give me some advice who is used to sewing unitards and/or spandex garments? Thanks,
Amanda

Maybe add a piece similar to the one used in this pattern – http://www.shelby.fi/kaava/302/302.php

You’ve got too much tension and pull somewhere, probably from the rump area and how its sewn to meet in the crotch. Hope this helps!
