I am designing a dress to wear to a wedding and decided to use a burgundy lace that I had on hand. Obviously it will be lined, so it’s not see through. But I cannot decide if I should line it with a nude color or a more rosy color, light enough to see the lace pattern.
Any opinions? Would a nude lining seem too racy as a guest at a wedding? The dress has a sweetheart bodice with a knee length skirt and gathered lace for the straps.
Any opinions or advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I think the rosy fabric would be a better choice for a wedding. You do not want to upstage the bride in any way. Post a picture of it when you are done.

Totally agree with using a lighter companion fabric. Love to see the finished product!
