Here is a cute bloomer pattern that seems to be a stylish item for college students and teens. Just go to: http://www.colettepatterns.com/blog/colette-patterns-news/free-pattern-to-download-the-madeleine-mini-bloomers
You can view the ones I made by going to: http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/colette-bloomers-rock
These are so easy to make and will make a great gift for a hard to buy teen or college student. Enjoy!

Hi everyone! For any crochet-ers out there, Antique Crochet Patterns is pretty awesome. They’re in the process of uploading a wealth of old crochet patterns. Some of the hats are gorgeous (and others slightly hilarious)!

Thank you so much. Although I don’t believe in re-inventing the wheel, I’m sure I will use this a lot.

M-Sewing is actually distributing Lekala patterns, and not with a right to do so, I’ve heard. The correct link to Lekala patterns is http://www.lekala.co/free.html
Nov 29, 2012, 07.27 PMby tzyg0nka
Currently Lekala has only one free pattern for a blouse. They have added charges to all their other patterns. However, they charge less than $2 each for all of their patterns if you join and buy 5 or more in a bundle and they are individually sized and come in many styles that M-Sewing doesn’t have. Their customer service is terrific. M-Sewing has a free program that converts their pdf files to tiling for print at home use.
