Burda Style For people who sew
i am so excited although many of you have no doubt figured this out too! being only 5 feet tall i am constantly hemming many garments. i came across a lovely maxi dress that was too long. after lopping off about 5 inches all around the hem i realized i had an instant eternity scarf with one side already hemmed. after about 30 seconds of sewing around the unhemmed side with my machine i had a beautiful new eternity scarf for free. i have worn it many times and always get compliments.
