I didn’t know where this post belongs so I’ll try here first. I was approached by Fashion Snoops to use some photos of my work. I tried to check out the site but it’s subscription style. Anyone familiar with them? I was about to sign the contract but then my dh advised me not to! Thanks…

I really wouldn’t Tangerine unless you can see EXACTLY what they are going to use them for and that they are going to be credited to you. I’m an ex life model and even for the saturday classes I used to work for everyone had a signed agreement that nothing would be posted on the web and that there were no photo’s taken during the workshops. You must always protect yourself from people. I know that sounds hysterical and distrusting but at the end of the day t s your reputation etc.

Thank you, Sylver. I emailed them back to add that to the contract (some kind of link back to my work) and they said it was not possible. I told them my CEO (aka dh – dear husband :) needed to see that in there. Great advice. Better too careful I guess!

Well if they aren’t crediting you then that is not on, I think you have been very wise Tangerine. In matters of contract it is always better to be safe than sorry.
