Burda Style For people who sew
Hi,I have been trying to track down a cute felt cupcake – instructions were on Burda “how to’s” website earlier this year. Instructions start with “Make three paper circle templates” and included step by step photos. It has disappeared due to reorganisation of the Burdastyle site. I really want to make one as a present. If anyone out there can post details on this I’d be very grateful.

Hello rose neath! Here is a site that has 60 different pin cushion patterns for free at: Free pincushion pattern. Here is a cupcake pincushion how to and my favorite is this one from Portabellopixie patterns. Here is the link from the old.burdastyle.com site to your how to for the cupcake pincushion. Hi, it was my Cupcake Pincushion tutorial – its now counted as a project and is available by clicking on the instructions tab in my Cake Pincushion creation. Bit tricky to find though, and I can’t work out how to make it searchable under cupcake pincushion without changing the name!

Thanks very much, I must say of all the patterns I found for cupcakes I think yours looked the best design and simplest to make, I’ll try to post a photo when I get round to making one, with a grandchild on the way it’s getting a bit busy at my house!!
