Hello!
I was wondering if anybody has made this dress, or know of someone who has made it (and has photos online…) : http://www.tudorlinks.com/treasury/articles/1912frocksxmas.html#EveningDress ?
I’d love to see it in a photo. I’d like to make it, but I am having a hard time reading the text on the diagram. I can read the words “drapery” and “lining” and “material” but can’t see any of the words on the edges. I’m not sure if its my computer or what.
Or, if anybody has a link to other online 1912 draped evening dresses resources? I’m in Benin so I prefer pdf patterns as the mail is very slow here/tendency to become lost.
Thank you!

It has the names of the pieces on there too like “front piece, right side” etc -but I can’t read them all so if you can figure those out yourself from the way they’ve laid out the pattern then you could just give it a go and stitch it together like a jigsaw. It doesn’t look too complicated I do’t think if you have experience of sewing already.

Download the image from the site, import it into whatever picture viewing program you use, and zoom in. The resolution isn’t too good, but you might be able to make things out by sharpening the image.
