Burda Style For people who sew

I have just made Amanda Plus, and came across a few problems with making it. The most serious problems were:

1. The pattern piece for the waist casing is missing.

2. So are the instructions for the waist casing – the instructions apply to Amanda, not Amanda Plus (the including the drawstring for the hemline)

Given this is a pattern I paid for, I would have expected a lot better from BurdaStyle. I did not expect to have to create my own pattern piece. I commented on the lack of pattern piece in the pattern pages two weeks ago, but there was no reply from anyone who could help. I also sent feedback via the contact pages, but was advised with a stock-standard answer to do a search on the BurdaStyle site. Which I had already done, and left comments … and nothing.

May I please suggest that the pattern in amended and the instructions as well? I think it’s the least that should be done, given people pay money for this pattern and it’s not even complete.

  I am looking into this for you, I thought I had the answer for you but now something is definitely off as the instructions included in the Amanda plus are incorrect. I apologize so much for the inconvenience. I will have an answer shortly.
