Click on the “My Account” tab in your Profile main page.

Select the Public Profile section. You can upload an image by clicking on “Browse” for the “My profile picture”, “About me picture” , and “Banner Image”. If you want to delete an existing picture, click on “Remove”.

Uploaded images will be resized to:

90 × 90 pixels for “My profile picture”
280 × 200 pixels for “About me picture”
615 × 90 pixels for “Banner Image”

Make sure your images follow these proportions and have at least the pixel dimensions indicated to avoid cropping and maintain good resolution.

  I cant seem to be able to add a profile pic, about me pic, my blog, etsy, or anything really. When I try to update it just says error and thats is!

    I was able to add a profile and banner and avatar pic, but only after I corrected my profile text down to 350 chars. Thank goodness, MS WORD has a tool for word count with also gives the character count. The about me text has shrunk significantly. It does give an error an offending field in the pale yellow box with red text. Like Profile text must be 350 characters. ’ It would be helpful to know what the error is specifically or how much I have to cut or is my picture way too big to upload – reduce to a certain size.

  Just to see what would happen, this morning I tried to change the picture shown with “About me” Not only does the system ignore the requested change, but told me my "About me: statement is too long. It’s what has been there since I joined. So, no change was allowed, even though I did not ask to do anything except change to a new picture. I’m e-mailing the “prt scrn” shot today (using Firefox 3.0.11 & OS=XP/Home kept updated.)Will the 350 character require all members to edit every remark? If so, many members will not be too happy. Like most people, I dislike changes that are made with no reason given. Angry? No. Upset? No. I just want to know why. Cordially, Nehmah

    I totally agree with everything you said above. I have not b een able to manage that page since the start of the beta. And I do not want to change the text of the ‘about me"… However, just to see what’ll happen I changed everything, resized everything… When it comes to members’ profile pages, I must be honest and say that I like – no wait – I LOVE the old profile page better… and I am missing it already…
