Burda Style For people who sew
i’m not sure if this has been posted yet, but i thought this would be the right board for it…
my activity counter doesn’t seem to be working— i get numbers when burdastyle posts something, but only intermittent numbers when friends post. is anyone else having a problem there?

I have the same problem!! When I logged in there was 1 activity: burdastyle added a pattern. But when I checked out my creations there were a number of new comments and I wasn’t informed about them. I checked my notification settings, and I want everything to be displayed not only when burdastyle does something. Burda team could you solve it???:)

me too, my ‘wall’ and ‘activity’ count say 4 or 10 etc but there is nothing new there

I’ve noticed problems too – my “Activity” shows it has 4 new entries (which is correct) but it also says my “Wall” has 4 new entries – which it doesn’t. . . .

I can only see 5 activities in my profile (four today and one yesterday), even though I received more announcements about activities to my e-mail. I know there were more also due to the fact that when I went to one of my projects to read one of the comments listed in my activities, I found another comment there (from a different member) that doesn’t show up in my activities!

P.S. Correction! If I click “Wall” from any page, it does show up and from there I can go to some other tabs (I tried “favourites”), but not to “Activity”. And if I click “Almatinka” or “Activity” from any page, it just shows 404 Error.

This has been mentioned in another post and BS has been alerted. The website was updated several days ago and the glitch started then. Hopefully , it will be fixed after the weekend.

Yes, the activity feed issues have been addressed and we required to zap them to properly display numbers again.
Sorry about that :-(
Anyhow, any new issues with the feed you notice in the future, please report it using the contact form.

For the 4th time now, all my ‘activitys I am following’ and all ‘my activitys’ have been lost… Somebody help!!!!!!

My activity looks perfectly alright now, fingers crossed it’ll stay that way…! But when I looked at the Burdastyle-front-page before I logged in it looked as though I was logged in as Burdastyle (under “latest member activity” it said things like “xxxx favourited my pattern Kasia”). Not like it should be, eh?

Aaaah, now the activity on my page has just stopped on antorher date up top and all new activity below that, easily missed. What a shame. I thought the issue was solved…

Well – I actually thought the problem had been sorted – but now – I’ve lost all my activity, except two very, very recent ones. . . . hope anyone who left comments doesn’t think I’m rude and not responding!!!

Another feed that doesn’t work at all at the moment is the recent posts in the forum. I added a topic about 8 hours ago, it still hasn’t shown up among the recent posts, they’re the same as they were then, and worse, it’s hidden underneath an old post in the list of topics. Makes the discussions rather impossible to discover and the forum a bit useless, really. I hope it’s fixed soon!

Well – I am now ready to cry.
All had be sorted out. Now today I log in, see “Activity 5” and Wall “1”. I get excited and think “cool”!!
Then I go to my wall, reply to a lovely message from a friend and then go to my Activity and NOTHING!!! ALL previous activity is GONE and my new ones are GONE!! So sad… so if anyone reads this who has done something cool and nice and is wondering why the heck I haven’t said anything . . . . that is why!!

Further to this – just went back to see if the above comment showed up on “my activity” tab (as opposed to the “activity I am following”) and NO DICE! Not one hint of a suggestion that I’ve made the above comment!!! Crikey!!
