Hi there

I am getting an “404 error” message, when trying to access my profile. According to that message “The page that I am looking for does not exist. Please check the address and try again.” I am still able to log in and out of my account, I just can’t access anything on my profile. For example, whenever I click on my wall, my activity or anywhere else on my profile, the “404 error” pops up. That’s the first time I see something like that. I did try to reset my safary and emptied cache, but it did not help. I also tried accessing my profile from another computer and got the same message. I would be so happy, if someone could make it work again.

    same thing happened to me today, probably a bug on the website, I sent a mail to burdastyle, hope they can fix it!

    Thanks for the info, the same thing happend to me today. I am just waiting on a respone from my report to burdastyle. The same thing happend when I tried to access everyone here, pages!

    Please continue to let us know here on the status of your pages as I do daily reports. It just makes it easier for them to have all of the same issues in one place and work on them. Thank you all for reporting your issues and for your patience.

      Thank you so much for your help. But I guess you fixed not the right account: It is " immi. " The one you picked was an immi (without the dot!) from HongKong but I am a German!

    Why do we need to be able to log into facebook from here? that link works fine but we can’t access the info we actually come here for? ridiculous

      And it also posts everything you do on BS to your FB account. All the patterns you’ve bought and every comment you make. I don’t like that at all.

      I am able to access your profile page, so was that one of your issues? Also, your issue with the facebook page has been sent in with my daily reports and with all of the access problems, don’t really know when you can expect a response. So sorry for that.       Hi Victor,
      Many people have asked to be able to link their accounts and share their projects with their friends on facebook. It is also just another way to log into the site that might be easier for some. Obviously we were trying to make the entire site break when we implemented this change :) We are working hard to fix it because we all know what people actually come here for! best

    I’m getting this same error message when I try to download any pattern, both free and one that I paid for. I’ve sent two emails and haven’t had any response.

    I use to get 404 Error when I try to upload a project to my studio. I have to try like four or five times before it works. But it has been like that for months now so I’m used to it now, but of course it’s frustrating!

    I’ve had 5 days of 404 errors, plus numerous 500 errors while viewing projects. I’ve had no reply from my email to Burda Style. I am seriously frustrated as I wanted to access my patterns, but can’t. Why do we need the whole facebook twitter thing? Especially if it going to cause so much chaos?

    I can get to my account, but I can’t update anything or view any of my projects. I was getting excited about posting stuff, but after this I’m strongly considering giving up entirely and deserting ship. BurdaStyle – At LEAST post something on your blog about this letting people know what is being done to fix the website. I think the entire concept of BurdaStyle is fantabulous, but this lack of communication is just sloppy. I know you’re all probably working hard to fix it, but keep a professional front and let us know what’s up.

      What browser and os are you using. We are trying to track down this bug but it is often very tricky! AS soon as we have that info it will be easier to pinpoint

      I’ve tried the latest versions of Firefox and Chrome on Windows Vista – cleared the cache in both, cleared cookies in both. No go.

    I am having the same problem. I uploaded one photo and it is displayed. When I try to add additional pictures, I receive the same 404 error message.

    Thanks members, this is exactly the information I need for my daily reports. I haven’t heard any new news on the progress for a remedy as of yet, but am hopeful that it will be fixed quickly. As you know please keep me updated on your status.

      ‘Elegant Impressions’ is a shared account from ‘Apfelbluete’ and ‘immi.’ We made this shared account because we want to offer patterns with our projects. This is so much work and we thougt we could reach more together.

    I have the same problem: lots of error notifications when clicking on other members. Moreover I cannot reach my activities. Each time I try there is a notification saying that the requested website is an endless loop so that the action can never be finished. The same thing happens when I am logged in and then try to go to my name Ellie Sew. When I want to reach my studio I have to go over my wall and then I can click on the other items like my favourites. And last my wall is showing 10 new messages. However when going there I just find 2 old ones. Meanwhile I tried 3 different browsers (IE, Mozilla Firefox, Opera), but it is all the same.I would be glad for your help.

    I have the same problem, and am also getting an error message when trying to view some other profiles as well. Very annoying as I appear to have 21 things in my activity to look at… I sent a message but have not heard back! Please fix it!

    This is an amazingly annoying problem. 90% of the time I get the 404 error when trying to look at patterns. I had wanted to print the quick ballet skirt by pixielink to make for my niece, but continue to get the error anytime I try. :(

If you can tell me what browser and os you are using and what pages exactly this is happening on it will help us fix the problem much faster.       The account * ’ immi. ’ * is totaly broken. Not one page is o.k. I am using Mozilla Firefox and Windows XP.
      At the account * ’ Elegant Impressions’ * it is nearly the same I get the message: FEHLER: UMLEITUNGSFEHLER. It is also the browser Mozilla Firefox and Windows XP.

      I use firefox and cannot access my profile, wall, activity, or any of my pages. I can view the profiles of other members with no problem. I can view some projects, but not all of them. Discussion pages seem to work fine. I can put in all the info to upload a new project, but it gives errors when i try to upload, then tells me that the name has already been taken when I try it again. change the name, get an error, try again, name has been taken. The number of projects it says i have has increased every time i try (unsuccessfully) to upload a project. This is at least day 5, and I have sent reports.

      Im using windows XP, its only happend when I tried to access my page, wall & activities. I could still comment on projects though. But it works fine now. Thanks for fixing it!

    I can’t access ‘Activity’, ‘Wall’, ‘Profile’ or ‘Purchase History.’ My OS is Windows XP and Browser Firefox v3.6.6. I have tried using Internet Explorer 8 and I get the same ‘404 Error.’
