Hi all,
Not exactly sure how meeting are set on this site but I’m gonna give this a shot. If I’m breaking a rule, moderators, please let me know.
I’m learning how to sew, bought a few books, practiced with an experienced friend, read up on stuff online etc…
My learning style is visual, and hands on. I find it hard sometimes to follow a text book for a craft that is so “hands on”.
I want to get more experience and learn from others who are excited about sewing. It would be cool to get together with either a group or individual here in the city who has time to show me a few things, practice with me, chat and hang out. I’m a pretty laid back, fun loving and energetic.
I’m not looking to pay for sewing lessons so please don’t reply offering me some for a price. However, if you’re intrested in making a new friend, sharing some tips and maybe working on projects together – please hit me up.
