Hey, I’ve just been reading something where the author was talking about how much she loved unprinted patterns (this is the article linktext ). What is an unprinted pattern please? I assume a printed one is the normal kind that come in an envelope all printed on a couple of sheets of the sligthly transparent yellowy pattern paper and you have to cut out (or trace) the peices?
Thanks

Hello ana.bean,
Patterns of years ago, around 1930’s, 40’s and some later, came pre-cut with no print on them, only cut out circles and dots to direct use along with instructions. Picture here: http://www.sewfunpatterns.com/163-6379_IMG.JPG
