I’ve noticed that on my recent Techniques, posted since the change of the year to 2010, it is possible to download a PDF version of the file, but for older techniques, this is not possible. I have all the original file materials – if I were to organize them into a PDF file, would it be possible to make this available as a choice? Not being able to print the whole tutorial in one go is a serious handicap, as these tutorials have upwards of 40 steps!

Hi Gedwoods,
You have a very valid point. It is definitely much easier to print all tutorials in .pdf format. This would be a site configuration that we can definitely talk to our Technical Support team about.

There is something rather odd about the way some Techniques provide PDF files, and some do not. I thought it was older files, but it’s more complicated than that. Of my techniques posted, the last three provide a PDF version of the instructions, the fourth Technique from the most recent (Constructing the Man’s Shirt Block) does not, but then the fifth one (Constructing the Basic Skirt Block) does! Then beyond this, none of them do… If it was just a question of timing, it wouldn’t skip one like this. This is a real nuisance, and suggests to me some kind of bug, due to the inconsistency, and not just a missing feature! Could we not get this corrected?
