Hi,
I’ve been inspired the recent slew of slopers I’ve been reading about and will be trying out a simple skirt sloper soon.
But, one thing I haven’t seen is: how do you estimate the amount of fabric you will need for a project? Even when I take patterns down to the local sewing shop, it seems that the saleswoman always sells me too little! (It is the only one in town. Maybe that is how she gets repeat customers. You have to go back to get more of what you didn’t in the first place).
Any tips on estimating fabric usage?
Thanks.
