After having had the use of the Textile markup language explained to me as the form of embedded codes for posting (see my posting here), I assumed the same protocol would be needed for other postings, such as Projects or Techniques. This is apparently not the case. Textile markups don’t work in the Techniques text pages – so I’m back to using embedded HTML codes, which do seem to work. However, on the general page for Techniques, within the little box that provides information about each technique, the embedded HTML codes are visible. This seems to me an inconsistency – the switching around from one type of markup format to another is confusing. It would be better to use HTML embedded codings consistently throughout the site rather than switch from one method to another (or use Textile Markup – but I prefer HTML codes!).
