I’m making my prom dress for the coming season in 2011. I am making a strapless dress with a sweetheart neckline and a lot of construction is going into the top of the design so i wanted to add boning to the top to give it the withstanding structure it needs. I know i have a lot of time between now and my prom, but I’m secretly making the dress because my mother doesn’t want me to do it. [I made my sweet sixteen dress last year and that was a headache and she doesn’t want me to go through that “mess” again.] hahaha =]
So! I need to learn how to put boning into a strapless sweetheart top of a dress this summer so I can have the dress done by January.
If anyone can give me any advice or instruction, or refer me to any other sites that can help me, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all soooo much! =]
