Also go to the Burdastyle Clubs website and check under Groups to see if there is one already established in your area. If you find there is not one and you would like to start one just contact David@burdastyle.com for your packet of information to get you on your way to some fun times.

    Good Luck and Happy Sewing!

I’m also in Dublin, but can’t find a club on the website. Is there one I can go to? Or if not would you guys maybe think about setting one up between us for Dublin? =)

I wish this thing notified you when another comment had been added!

anywho… I’d checked the club website mentioned above too and see no sign of one in Ireland, let alone Dublin! we’ve got 2 Wexford-ers and 7 Dubs, would the Wexford based ladies be happy to take a trip up to the Big Smoke if something was set up? I don’t want to steal @neerja2007 thunder as it was her post which everyone is responding too, but I’m happy to organise if people would be interested? only thing is I have exams coming up in April so any “actual” or real life meet up would have to wait until after that?

right I’m off to email this David guy the Burda lady mentioned above to see what the story is…

(p.s. I’m gonna post a comment on all of your walls so you know to come back and join in the discussion, and I’ll check back for responses and we’ll see if we can get something off the ground!)

Hi Guys, it is great to see all of you here in Ireland, I was getting desperate. So unfortunate, but for me trips to Dublin are just not feasable, however I have a sewing community on Facebook and if you want to join us and showcase your creations, it could be really cool. My personal profile (still sewing-related) is Juliette Sewingandstyle Den ( http://www.facebook.com/sewingandstyle ) and the community page is Sewing and Style Den ( http://www.facebook.com/sewingandstyleden ) Please feel free to join me girls- sewing in Ireland seems to be a rare hobby, especially dressmaking. We should stick together ))))))))

This is really great! I have exams in May so not sure where I will be, so for that reason I really love the idea of an online group like you mentioned. I’d be more than willing to help setting up anything with you guys. It sounds awesome!! =)

is there a setting that can be changed so that you can see who likes/joined rather than just the number?

Hi Guys, great to see a Facebook page has been set up, hope you dont mind if i join in too. I’m in Limerick so didn’t add to this post originally as I didn’t think i’d be able to get involved. Love sewing but don’t get time to sew all that much, and not too experienced but hopefully this will inspire me to do more!

Do you think we should set up the Burda Group page too? even if just to direct people across to the FB page?
