I’m not sure how one is supposed to determine that one’s question is a Frequently Asked one… so I’m interpreting FAQ to be just a place for general questions!
I’m curious about how the BurdaStyle site determines the time of a posting. I’m on EST and my clock says it’s 1:10pm. When I post, however, the time of posting is given is 5:10pm. Now this is an odd time, as it seems to correspond to somewhere in the Atlantic ocean near but not yet arrived at Europe! Or it’s London, England, with Daylight savings removed. Does that make it Greenwich time? Just interested :)

Looks to me like London UK time without daylight saving. I would appreciate if it were possible to choose a time zone and if not maybe the time zone Burdastyle uses could be announced somewhere?

Hello zora.
The timezone used to display by the website right now is UTC:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coordinated_Universal_Time
This is a requirement to store the information so timezone selection per user is possible in future upgrades.

Thanks for the info. It makes sense, but it’s the first time I’ve seen this done …. that may just show my own ignorance, though!
