We are a sewing lounge/studio in hoboken nj and were looking for part-time sewing instructors to teach sewing classes to adults and kids. Need teachers for some of our existing classes. Also looking to hire people with ideas for new classes to add to our already existing schedule of fun, creative classes and workshops. Also in need of part time help on the boutique which would consist of sales assistance, piece work sewing, marketing, blogging, etc.
Qualifications would obviously be that you need to know how to sew pretty well. Teaching experience is a plus but not required. If you have the right personality and energy level. Definitely have to enjoy working with people, have a friendly personality, be organized, be free to work in the afternoons, evenings and/or weekends.
Our website can be found at www.maverydesigns.com. Take a second to see what were all about and if you think you’d fit in, send a note and your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org. Be sure to include websites, blogs and/or portfolios if you have them. Payment based on experience.
