Hi everyone I’m new to this site so this is my first post!!
I recently decided to start sewing again…my uncle had an alterations shop and my gran was a seamstress so from a very early age I was around all this stuff! I have had a machine sitting in a cupboard for many years now and I got it out today to have a look at what it needs to get going again my shopping list is:
New zig zag foot
Power cable and foot control
Front compartment (I’m sure this is sitting some where so prob won’t need to buy it)
The last three I am fine with I know shops and sites for these however I was wondering if any of you know of a good place I can go to get the other parts? I am in Glasgow, Scotland if that helps at all. I know that I can probably get a decent second hand machine for the price of fixing this one up but it is the one my gran gave me to practice on so really want to get it working :)
Any help or advice you can give me would be greatly appreciated also I’m not sure if I’m in the right section so apologies if I’m not!!
There are about 3-4 books out there about taking one or two or three t-shirts and sciss…
This question is from almost a year ago yet Burda has yet to address it. I’m also curi…
