We have reported this issue to Area17(Website Techs), and they think it is a server issue. They are working with our server provider to get it fixed, and may need to put the site in maintenance mode for a few hours to do this. They have not given me an estimated time for when they plan to do this, but I expect an update very soon.
From what I have been told, the issue does not seem to affect profile privacy at all.
