We have reported this issue to Area17(Website Techs), and they think it is a server issue. They are working with our server provider to get it fixed, and may need to put the site in maintenance mode for a few hours to do this. They have not given me an estimated time for when they plan to do this, but I expect an update very soon.

From what I have been told, the issue does not seem to affect profile privacy at all.

    Amber Bordelon is how my facebook sees me at BurdaStyle. Still not fixed. Don’t worry yourself- I’m just going to turn that feature off.

    I’m still having problems. I’ve tried changing the user namer back to my own but it still thinks I’m someone called Christopher Barrows. Then after I try to change it, I’m instantly transported to miss-g-1’s page. I hope the tech team can fix this bug.

    Hey there,

    I don’t know if I’m right here, but I’ve got some problems with my username after I wanted to change my real name from facebook into a fictional nickname. I thought it would work under “Personal Account Info” and with the line “Username”. I changed the exsisting name “burda-user…” into “Lepidoptera” and saved it. But it changed my name into “burda-user…” instead of my fictional username and I can’t change it back now (it always leads me to another user with that nickname). What do I do now? D:

    I have been trying to order a pattern ( downloadable) i am told that i have the incorect password i sent for my password, mine was correct i am told to update my password which i cannot i finally got into the site entered my charge card & info am told my card is fradulent & order is not excepted my card is up to date but it is not excepted
