One comment attached to the project of my skirt.
However, the comment was increasing in 26 after design change of Burdastyle.
Those comments are not the comment to the project of my skirt.
I think that it was jumbled with the comments of the projects of the swimwear of other persons project.
Please move the comments to a correct place.

    Oh yes! This seems to be totally mixed up! I “lost” some comments on a dress and found one of it at the page of someone’s skirt and the comments which are attached here http://www.burdastyle.com/projects/drawstring-jumper-dress-no-pattern-required belong to a romper that was posted recently. The comments on some blog etries and hannnc’s coat are also missing. I have no idea if they have disappeared completely or if they were adventurous and started traveling through creation-pages, too.

      Hey Zickzack,

      Thanks, we will look into this. It would be great if you could point out from old.burdastyle.com which comments are missing and which are not yours. This will help us troubleshoot this one.

      Data migration of 200k+ user data was probably the most difficult task of this project, especially as the data model of the old website was a tangled ball of thread :P

      We can fix this! Just give us the links to the projects that this is happening on and refer to a few of the comments that are incorrect. We can take it from there.

    People, I have 92 creations posted. Am I supposed to check every one of them and list those that have wrong comments applied to them?

    1. I’ve got Ute on my mind – top 3 comments are not for my blouse 2. <Do you like peaches?/b> – all comments are incorrect 3. Deep Blue … Green! – it has 1 new comment that I think is not at its place, and the comments the skirt used to have are gone 4. Black shorts – all the comments are gone

    should I continue?

      And where’s the Edit button? Beta testers made dozens of comments regarding lack of this button.

      We are working on the feature but due to the tight budget, we couldn’t roll it out in this first wave, right now we are focusing on bugs. Don’t worry, we took down all your suggestions and will be looking into implementing them in future rolls.

    Dear our Burdastyle staff

    We are impossible to remember all the comments to the projects of the self! Do you have the old exact data before the design change? And is it possible to synchronize the data correctly with the data of new now? We hope it to you!

    I am feeling big worth, to all the comments that were given to the project.

    Even if time is required how much I can wait. Please grant our hope.

    It seems like this is only happening to the projects that have not been uploaded to the beta testing page beforehand. In my case, all comments to “Franzi all tied up” don’t belong to the project, “Julietta’s summer skirt + blouse” are both missing their comments.

      For me that’s not true. I double-checked and some comments on my projects that were on the testing page are wrong, too. There are not as many mistakes as on my new projects’ pages, though.

    Ok, I had a good look through my creations. The comments for half of them are fine. But, the mess-up:

    At my diaper bag project I have comments that are aimed at my Half a circle Lesley wrap skirt, and the original comments for the bag have gone For the half a circle wrap skirt I only have one comment that belongs to someone else’s creation I now have no comments for my little black&white dress even though I think I had some before For my leopard Amanda, all the comments that appear here are not for me, but for someone else’s project, I think they are the comments to Okashi’s sea horse dress for the wrap skirt for my sister-project, the top 2 comments belong here, the bottom two are from someone else’s creation (someone with a camisola & Japanese language)

    That’s it. Can you please let me know when you have fixed this. In the mean time I will not upload any new projects.

      Thanks for the through report this helps alot! You can absolutely upload new projects if you would like, the comments went missing during the transfer. since new projects wont be moved they should be fine.

    HEy I don’t want to check ALL my creations and write which is for me and which is not.[I have written what has to be changed and post but even this has to be fixed cause my comment dissapeared] Simply it has to be compared with old site and changed. Also my profile photos, infos about me and even status is changed! And i checked that who likes this creations is different, and some comments do not belong here….what a mess! Please change it:)

    Like skwarynia, also my ‘about me’ info is an old version. I had updated this info a while ago on the old burdastyle website and this has not been transferred to the new site. Also the extra pictures of my sewing room, supplies and myself have disappeared. And where is my inbox with personal messages?

    Indeed a mess. I really hope you can fix that soon!

    I have this problem too. The comments on my BBQ dress are some one else’s, I believe they’re meant for Pippilotta Short Nora dress. I don’t know where my comments went… Also the first comment on my Milkshake dress is not mine, the second is and the rest is gone…

    Some of the comments meant for me were just added a project uploaded recently. What is most confusing about this is that you can’t be sure that something is meant for you when you uplod a new project. Therefore you don’t know if you should answer/reply or not and if you do, assuming a comment is meant for you, but it isn’t, the person getting your reply will be confused. This comment is probably as confusing as what it is about. Now I always check the date of the comments I get. If the comment is older than my project there must be something wrong..

    haha i understand what you meant zickzack. i really hope the comments get sorted out, i hate that some of my projects have none on them! it’s so sad. and i can’t imagine having as many projects as AnaJan and having to check every single one..

    well im having a similar (but not the same) issue….the comments for my “sneek peak” project (as they are called now) are missing. there was 5 comments on it on the old site, but all of them are gone (with no clue as to where they have gone).
