Dear Burdastyle team,
Ever since the 10th of August I have been unable to communicate with anyone on this site. The problem is, that my comments and messages and discussion posts (like this one probably) do not show up. I can see in ‘my activity’ that I have actually commented and posted something, but these comments and posts are not visible to myself and anyone else. Maybe someone of your team could look into my account and look at ‘my activity’, if you click on these post you will see that my comment is not there, even though the ‘comment count’ says it should be.
This is really frustrating because I am not able to communicate with anyone anymore. And interacting with the Burdastyle community was what attracted me to the site in the first place. For example, one of the members recently asked whether someone knew some nice place to go in Copenhagen for 2nd hand stores and fabric shops. I live in Copenhagen and I tried to help her by giving her some tips. But I cannot reply to the discussion post and I cannot comment on her wall.
I tried to report this problem to you through the online form, surprise surprise, that didn’t work either. I then sent you and e-mail through my regular e-mail address, but got no response. I really don’t know what to do now, because I cannot reach you in any way. I think I might try to send you a letter through the snailmail, maybe that works….
I’m really sad about this, cause it takes the fun out of using the site, I honestly feel a bit ‘silenced’. Could you please let me know whether you are looking into this? It’s not that I want you to fix it asap or anything, I know you are busy working on the new site and I can wait. But it would be really cool if you could acknowledge having seen this message, so I know you are aware of the problem and eventually will look into it.

The time difference was explained when Gedwoods, (thank you for asking) wondered about the same subject. It isn’t gremlins in our clockworks, it is UTC or Coordinated Universal Time. Surprise, it replace Greenwich Mean Time in 1972 as the standard time reference. It only took me 37 years to find this out. It is, if I understood Wikipedia’s explanation (Google UTC) so that all computers can keep to one time (?) Under our “regular” set-up, I could see that someone in the Orient could possibly answer a query a day before it was placed. Good thinking by someone. Nehmah

Hello all from UK— as nehmah knows I have problems uploading but I have been a member for a few months now ( i get the new letter ) — but on the 22nd I couldn’t log on. So I re-joined using another e-mail address, user name etc but still cannot upload a project. I have e-mailed BS so hoping for some advice. I also find difficulty using the search facility — would like to find the Jennifer blouse that I saw mentioned in the Blog. Is it in the pattern section. ?
