NOTHING seems to work for more than a few clicks, and then I get 400 Bad Request or some such, and then nothing works at all until I go back later.
What’s wrong and is it going to be fixed???

Hello alazycalm,
It seems you are using Safari on a Mac, correct?
We detected a problem from Safari connecting properly to the website and we are investigating.
You can follow this Apple technical instructions and provide us the details so we can speed up our research of a fix for it:
http://support.apple.com/kb/TA21467
Thank you.

Hi, luislavena – yes, it’s Safari on OSX 10.4.11. The site was working fine with Safari until a couple of days before I posted this. Since then, it will only open the home page or maybe one more, and then I get the 400 Bad Request message.
I’ll try the technical instruction soon. In the meantime, I’ll use Firefox for a bit. Thanks for your help. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Yes, Safari has become a huge problem on our end, and the technical team is working hard to find the issue and enchant a solution for it.
Thank you for using Firefox in the mean time, we are going to keep you posted on the progress.

Hi, I’ve been trying to publish a project on my profile for the longest time, and it’s just not working! I go to ‘my studio’, click ‘publish’ on the project, and then it brings me to the editing screen, where i scroll down and click ‘publish project’ – and then it only reloads the page, and the project still isn’t published. Can anyone help? I’m using Firefox on a PC. Thanks!!

I’m on Safari, and I haven’t had any problems. Have you updated your software?

Hi, Kiraph – I have the newest version of safari. I have an older mac, though – a power pc, actually – so if you’re using safari on a newer system that might help as well depending on what the issue is I guess. It’s funny. Websites usually struggle much more with IE in my experience than with safari.

“Websites usually struggle much more with IE in my experience than with safari.” Yeah, I know, makes it a bit strange doesn’t it?
I’m on a MacBook which is a couple of years old so maybe it is a processor thing. Good luck, I hope it all sorts itself out for you. :)

Sorry Kiraph, I was trying to reply and hit the lightening bolt. Have you tried clicking on Safari, then click on “reset Safari”? It will bring up a list of items you wish to reset and check the items you wish to reset like cookies. I did this and it fixed all the issues I was having with site. I am using a MacBook with Safari.

YES!! That did help. So, burda, that should be some sort of clue for you, right?? Do you keep having to reset it? I’ll see if it keeps working for me, but right now it looks good. Very cool.

Hello Hello!
Yesterday our system administrators managed to put online fixes for Safari users on Mac. We tested here with our test computer (the one having problems) and worked.
For those still having issues with it, please reset your cache and clear your cookies, log in again and see if everything is working again.
For IE issues, I’ve already addressed those to the development team, and hopefully they are going to have fixes for them soon.
Cheers!

Awesome – thanks, luislavena! Everything seems to be working fine since I reset my browser and everything. Good luck with the rest of the issues!
Ciao!

Hi, again. In order to access the website on Safari, it seems that I keep having to clear the cache and cookies and everything periodically or it doesn’t work. This isn’t really acceptable since I don’t want to do that every week and lose my history, favorite sites, etc.
So I think maybe you guys haven’t really fixed the problem. :(
I hope they can figure these issues out! Good luck.

Hello Alazycalm,
As I posted in another 400 error discussion, can you execute Apple instructions and send that information to answers@burdastyle.com ?
Our Hosting provider has fixed the issue but we need more detail from those cases that are still happening.
Please let us know.
Thank you.
