Hi there…

Last night I was forced to post this problem to the BurdaStyle’s Facebook page, because the site is completely unusable for me from my netbook.

I mostly use an Acer Aspireone netbook which runs on a lite version of Linux. Each time I visit BurdaStyle on it, that (f$%^ing!) semi-transparent overlay that tells us the site is changing keeps me from using the site at all. One of the ads on the right of the screen overlaps where the “ok” button and “Don’t tell me again” checkbox should be.

I’m using my husband’s windows computer now specifically to let you know of this problem. When will the overlay be gone? Can’t wait to use your site again.

P.S. This isn’t a bug, but a preference. I’m so sorry to see “For People Who Sew” replace the “Open Source Sewing” tagline… I love message the old one sends (open, nerdy/techie, sharing, community) and fear that open source is one of the changes to come in the future. Lots of things are for people who sew, but ONLY BurdaStyle has been Open Source in regards to Sewing. Please, please don’t change that.
