activity stopped august 4th....

some peeps have been posting in an old bug tracking topic of mine from a year ago, but i thought it would be better to start a new thread..
i think my activity reader stopped working on august 4th— i’ve been on the site several times since then and my little counter shows new activity, but there aren’t any updates. for example today i had “5” but nothing new on the actual activity page.

Well it seems as the 4th was fatal for the site ;( The thing that drives me crazy the most is that now the newest activities are settled somewhere in between dates. For example today’s activities (and yesterday’s for that matter) are between the ones of the 4th and the 5th. So every day I scroll up and down to find where the current ones are hiding! I am getting sick of this!

I have the same problem. And the activity from the 4th is 10x of the same member-project. I’m glad not all my friends posted projects on the 4th, it would have filled page after page…

In my case – the activity counter works OK – meaning that it displays the correct number of activities (compared to the number of emails I get for these), but when I go to the Activity tab, there are no new activities displayed on it.

All my activity is out of order. This is what I see, from top to bottom:
9 August, 5 August, Yesterday, 8 August, 7 August, 4 August, 6 August, Today
It makes no sense to me!

My “activity” was back up and running. Then when i signed in today, I had 3 new “activities” showing, clicked on the “activity” link and… the “activity” page is empty! Everything is gone. What’s going on?

Today I experienced the same as Ghainskom. There are some activities displayed, but when I click on the activity button (to see them actually) the page in question is empty … blank…. Is this going to end …. ever???

I’ve had the same deal as well. At first it worked fine for the first two days I’ve had an account. Then the next day it said I had two activities but when I clicked on it it only showed a recently published article from burdastyle’s blog. But when surfing around I happened upon a reply to a comment I had made..so there’s where the second activity went. Now I know that there are activities though nothing is showing up on my activity log, even past activities, so I have to check all the usual suspects to see where it is. Also looking at other people’s profiles you will not see their activities either.

Same here. I see the number in the bar above, but nothing when I click it. Today it reported 9 activities, and when I clicked on it it even showed that there should be 2 pages of activities, but nothing shown on them at all. Just the numbers of pages that I can click between, with no results.

Phew! I was so worried! Thanks for the reassurance, as well as getting if fixed. Sometimes the reassurance is all that we need!
