The lining of my favorite summer dress finally bit the dust so I took it apart and made a new pattern for it. The original had turned in hems at the neck and arm openings as well as at the bottom. I feel that facings would give the lining a bit more body but have failed miserably in my attempts to create the facings. Is there a trick to it?
