I found a costume fabric..one side is a nice matte dark grey the other is foil red/silver/gold tones there a black one too.. I like the dark grey side, I want to try to make a coat out of it, im not sure if it is appropriate material for a coat/ spring coat. Don’t know if it is waterproof.. I like the grey so much, but it is $15 per yard. Im new to sewing and don’t want to waste the money or the fabric if I shouldn’t use it as a coat. Your thoughts?
