buzzybee just wrote a great post about the lives of garments, and I was thinking so many of us are into recycling & wardrobe refashion, maybe we could have a weekly post on that topic. tips, ideas, or just descriptions of a completed refashion…
other than that, I think you guys should have a weekly post about cookies and sweet treats.

hi magdamagda— the post i was talking about was on the discussions boards, but i can’t seem to find it. it may have been lost in the transition to the newer site?
love your bag, especially the way you incorporated the handles!

i was still on the site thinking abt what features to suggest to burdastyle and i saw your reply in the right column “recent posts” that appear when one checks “discussions”… and so i clicked to see your post, otherwise i wouldn’t have known you wrote as nothing appears in my “activity” board unless you click “reply” or post your comment on my wall too.. anyways, that’s something i will suggest for improvement… and errr yeah i didnt really read that the year you opened the thread was 2009:)) .. see, even after one year you can expect a reply:) I will post another similar project soon, i’m glad you liked this one… adding you to friends so you will see that project on your wall… thanks for the reply, thread is not new but the idea is never old!

Since this is the refashion topic, have you seen this blog? The girl who’s running it has a project: each day during a period of one year she refashions the thrift finds into new garments. Additional rule she has is that each garment should cost $1. Check out her blog, she’s so creative and so inspiring.
